“It is an absolute honour for me to join The Children’s Hyperinsulinism Charity and thank you for making me part of your family as Patron. This organisation and support group is doing excellent work not only in supporting families in the UK but also internationally.

Over the years I have always enjoyed being involved with the Charity’s work, whether that is presenting at Family Conferences and Teacher Training Days, coming along to family fun days, or working together on various research projects. I continuously support the Charity with its awareness campaigns, designed to bring a greater understanding of Hyperinsulinism and to improve detection and early diagnosis and to help prevent long term neurological consequences.

I feel privileged to work together in fulfilling the goals and values of the charity and continue to raise awareness regarding hyperinsulinism and hypoglycaemia amongst healthcare professionals. I shall also support all their fundraising activities and collaboration with other charitable organisations and family support groups.”
